Ferhat Guven is Managing Director – Real Estate Investments for Domain Real Asset Ventures, a subsidiary of Domain Capital Advisors LLC, a SEC-Registered Investment Adviser and subsidiary of Domain Capital Group.

Within the Domain Real Asset Ventures strategy, his responsibilities include the strategic development of the business unit, client development, investment sourcing, and ongoing client support for Domain Real Asset Ventures opportunities.

Mr. Guven has 20-years of global entrepreneurial private equity and investment and capital raising experience spanning the United States, Europe, Middle East, and Latin America. Prior to joining Domain, Mr. Guven was a director of investor relations, and capital raising for Rubenstein Partners, a value-added office manager with over $3.4B in AUM, where he led the firm’s capital raising team for direct co-investments and co-mingled debt and equity funds.

Previously, he led the U.S. real estate group in New York on behalf of Threadmark, a global placement agent headquartered in London, where he was responsible for U.S. capital raising and origination across a number of mandates including real estate secondaries, office, and retail strategies. Mr. Guven joined from Altitude Advisors, an investment advisory firm he founded that raised capital for medical office, shopping center portfolios, and timber.

Mr. Guven began his private equity real estate career overseas, focusing on emerging markets, where he lived and worked for over 15 years in Turkey, London, Dubai, and Latin America. In 2005, Mr. Guven co-founded a real estate investment advisory firm in Turkey where he developed a client roster which included leading European and Middle East institutional investors targeting homebuilding projects, shopping centers, and office assets. The company partnered with Paladin Realty Partners in 2007 where Mr. Guven expanded his scope to raising European and Middle Eastern capital for Latin American real estate projects and funds. In 2013, Mr. Guven and his colleagues joined Jamestown to launch a platform which invested in real estate projects across Latin America.

Mr. Guven is a graduate of Texas Tech University and holds a MSc. in Management and Finance from the London Business School, where he was a Sloan Fellow. He is a member of the IREI Editorial Board, Pension Real Estate Association and senior advisor to Sahar Global Summit. Mr. Guven is a Dean’s Circle Advisory Board Member for the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas Tech University.
