Mr. Echols is Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Domain Timber Advisors (DTA), a division of Domain Capital Group, LLC.  Mr. Echols is responsible for supporting both the timberland and environmental investment platforms at DTA. Taylor manages timberland assets across three major U.S. regions and provides financial underwriting for timberland acquisitions and commercial mitigation bank valuations. Mr. Echols also leads the development and maintenance of multiple business systems including asset performance tracking and consultant reporting. In 2023, Mr. Echols worked with third-party service providers to develop DTA’s first audited carbon accounting methodology, improving the scope and accuracy with which DTA can report to its clients.

Prior to joining Domain Timber Advisors, Mr. Echols was an intern at Domain Timber Advisors after earning his Masters of Forest Resources from the University of Georgia.  Mr. Echols’ previous experience includes working as a Research Assistant at TimberMart–South, working as a Warehouse Associate at U.S. Lumber, and working as an Aquarium Technician at the University of Georgia’s Marine Science Department.

Mr. Echols holds a B.S. with honors in Ecology and a Masters of Forest Resources from the University of Georgia.  While at the University of Georgia, Mr. Echols played varsity basketball for the University of Georgia Bulldogs and later worked a student athlete mentor.
